The story behind the brand
A dog walked out
of the woods.
We followed him home.
This is Karam. He's a German Shorthaired Pointer, a rescue, and the reason Jungle Paw exists.
"What started as a joke between two pet parents — 'let's just make something ourselves' — turned into a brand. Because Karam deserved better. And so does yours."
— The Jungle Paw Team
He walked up
and chose us.
It was an ordinary evening. We were dining outdoors when a dog appeared
at the edge of the woods — lean, cautious, but with the most impossibly
soulful eyes. He'd been wandering alone, deserted in a forest, fending
for himself in a world that hadn't been kind to him.
But when he walked toward us, something shifted. He wasn't asking for
scraps. He was asking for a home. We looked at each other, and without
a single word, we both knew: he was already ours.
We named him Karam — generosity in Arabic — because
that's exactly what he gave us, freely and without conditions.
The first night,
the first promise.
Before he ever set paw in our home, we took him straight to the vet.
He sat on that examination table — still, patient, almost stoic —
as if he understood that this was the beginning of something different.
He was underweight, his short coat offering him almost no protection
against the chill. We wrapped him in a blanket and made him a quiet
promise that night: you'll never be cold again.
He slept through the whole drive home.
A GSP discovers
what freedom feels like.
German Shorthaired Pointers are built to run. Short coat, athletic frame,
boundless energy — Karam is a textbook GSP in every way. As the months
passed, he grew into himself: confident, playful, ever-exploring.
But Turkish winters had other plans. The moment temperatures dropped,
that sleek short coat left him shivering on our walks. We searched
everywhere for something that would keep him warm without
holding him back — but everything we found was either too
restrictive, too bulky, or simply not made for a dog like him.
So one evening, half-joking, we said it out loud.
The moment everything changed
The joke that
wasn't really a joke.
We laughed. Then we looked at Karam, shivering in his blanket, and we stopped laughing. We grabbed a notebook. Three rules, written that same night: keep them warm. set them free. on and off in seconds. Those three lines are still the foundation of every single product we make.
Chapter 04 · The Brand
Meet the inspiration.
And the tester.
We don't have a product testing lab. We have Karam. Every jacket,
every harness, every accessory we make starts with him —
because if he won't wear it comfortably through a full sprint, a muddy
field, and a couch nap afterward, it doesn't leave our workshop.
He'll scratch it, bite the zipper, shake it off, roll in it,
and refuse to stand still while you're trying to photograph it.
He is, in short, the world's most demanding quality
assurance department — and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Because the dogs who wear Jungle Paw are just like him:
active, spirited, and entirely too good for anything less than perfect.
Three rules. Every product. Always.
Written in a notebook on Karam's first cold night home.
-
Keep Them Warm
We obsess over materials. Every fabric is chosen for thermal performance without bulk — because Karam shivered and we swore that would never happen again. Not to him. Not to yours.
-
Set Them Free
A GSP doesn't slow down. Neither should their clothes. Every cut is designed around full range of motion — no rubbing, no pinching, no stopping mid-run to readjust.
-
On & Off in Seconds
Try dressing an excited GSP who wants to sprint. Go on. That's why every closure, every fastener, every fit is designed to be effortless — for you and for them.
From the woods
to the world.
Karam is warm, loved, and perpetually convinced he can outrun anything. He inspired a brand. He's still inspecting every single product we ship.
